Not Only In My Mind
The past year has confirmed for me something that I have known in my heart for many years. I love Western North Carolina. I especially like Ashe County. It is known for it’s cheese factory and Christmas tree farms. To me it is known as the place where Old Crow Medicine Show was discovered and most especially as the place where my friend Anne resides. I am very honored to have been invited to walk with her as she is received into the Church tomorrow. Today we delivered emergency radios to a domestic violence shelter, had dinner with her parents and I accompanied her to the church for her first celebration of the sacrament of reconciliation. It was a great day. Thanks for sharing your back porch with me Anne!
