Fans
That’s right folks, fans.
My friend Lora recently decided to replace her existing ceiling fan, so today we went in search of the most stylish, reasonably priced artificial wind producing device we could find. Today was blisteringly hot, and thus in my mind an appropriate day for buying a fan. I don’t know whether it stems from growing up in a family where we could not always afford air conditioning, or from the fact that I spent eight months of this past year living in the great outdoors, but I kind of like being able to enjoy the fresh air that fans allow. Having just recently moved back into the city, I find many days that I miss living in an environment where people still open their windows and doors, turn on the fan, and enjoy the sounds and smells that only nature can provide. Sometimes the simple pleasures are the best ones.
