Flat Thomas Meets Flat Bennie
Flat Bennie and I first met on a bus trip in 2005. We were returning from the National Catholic Youth Conference in Atlanta where he made his inaugural appearance. Since then, he has continued to show up every now and then at St. Thomas Parish. This morning we were able to introduce him to Flat Thomas. The two of them hit it off immediately as they share quite a bit in common, the most obvious being that they are both apostles and both flat. Flat Bennie gave his blessing before departing for more travels. We look forward to his next visit, whenever that may be!

I saw the photo first and was faked out for a second. I’ve been traveling and now have an ear-infection and feel somewhat beat-down by Il Duce and co-horts. I guess bundled rods are in the national symbols. Anyway, your blog always breathes a little fresh pneuma into me.
