New Beginnings

by Fr. Christian Mathis on July 23, 2009

meWelcome to what I hope you will find to  be an enhanced version of Blessed is the Kingdom! With the help of my brother, I have made the jump to WordPress and like what we have created so far.  Many of the archived posts are still in need of editing from the jump from Blogger and there are certainly growing pains ahead as I figure out how things work in the WordPress universe, but I hope you will all have patience during the transition. It seems fitting to be going through changes in the blog alongside all the other changes that are a part of my life right now. I hope you will like the new look!

I wish I had the time and tech skills to migrate. I’m basically a Luddite at heart so once I get something down that “works”, I generally don’t change. Nice look! May it be blessed!

Thanks Steve! I completely understand, without having a tech savvie brother I would have stayed at blogger longer, but with his help I was able to migrate. You are still getting props with my friend Ashley btw!

I am glad you kept your color scheme. I always thought your blog site was beautiful. It still is.

    Father,

The new Blessed is the Kingdom looks great! I hope your time in Texas was enjoyable and rewarding– you deserve it. We look forward to seeing you again this week, and having you as our pastor.

Thanks Elizabeth! I wanted to have more flexibility on the blog, but keep the same feel….glad you like the colors as I do too.

Jim and Mary–Sorry I missed you all today. Trying to get moved and didn’t have my phone with me!

Sometimes I am skeptical to changes, but I love your new blog. Welcome back, we missed you. Your icon is awesome!! Love it.

    Verrry nice.

I even like the music, and that’s a rarity!

The wordpress is easier to move around, good choice. It is cooler up here in TN than TX. When I was down there last week it got up to 113!
We are eager to have you back but happy you had time for a respite.
