Traveling Teacher
This morning I learned of an interesting project that one of my childhood neighbors is attempting. Mark Dickinson, who is currently a teacher at Southeast Whitfield High School in Dalton, Georgia is attempting an experiment to discover how far one can rely upon the generosity of strangers.
His blog begins with the question, “Could a person who had no money travel around the world relying on the generosity of strangers?” Mark and his students have had discussions about whether people are basically good or basically evil. His idea to travel while relying only on the goodness of others will be a concrete way to find out.
