Working On A Building
Yesterday I spent several hours working here at the new blogsite in an attempt to get some things up to date. One of the things I was most happy about when making the change to WordPress was the ability to transfer all my old blog posts here. All of them came over at once, which saved having to transfer them one by one. Unfortunately, none of the photos transferred with the posts and many came over to the new blog with lots of HTML code scattered throughout them. Yesterday I was able to clean up about two months worth of old posts so that they are once again presentable. There are still about ten months of archived posts to edit, so please be patient as the repairs continue. Little by little, things are coming back into focus.
I am also hoping to bring back the ability for readers to subscribe to an RSS feed in Yahoo or Google reader. There have been many of you who have expressed to me how helpful this was and I hope to be able to accommodate the request soon. If there are other things that would make it easier to navigate the new blog, let me know and I will try to do what I can.
It has made me happy to see some great improvements to the blog that have been made possible due to the switch. Two that come to mind are the ability to expand the selections of music used on the blog and the fact that one need no longer register at the site in order to leave a comment. All one needs is a name and an email address!
Most of all, I hope readers will continue to find this small corner of the blogosphere to be a source of grace as we continue to explore our Christian faith together.
