Sabbath Sunday: Forgiveness

Today’s Sabbath Sunday post is about forgiveness. Last winter the priests of our diocese were challenged by our presenter, Pat Kelly, to always keep mercy in the forefront of our ministry. Here are my thoughts on her presentation to the priests of Knoxville.

In your love, my salvation lies

Once again you are invited to join me in promoting the Sabbath by taking a break from your normal blogging.  Please share an older post from your blog that is near and dear to your heart. Make sure to leave your name and the URL of your post below and share a comment if you so desire. I look forward to reading your recycled posts!

Thanks for hosting this again, Father. I submitted a post from this past week about the gift of friendship that seems to reach between heaven and earth!.

Lately it seems I’m surrounded by people dying. A few years ago my father in law and his friend (and mine), Walter died. Both shared something of a common past, but they were an “Odd Couple” whose lives were forged together by a common faith and our families.

We do tend to hit patches where many people are dying in waves…..always makes me thankful for my own life and for those God has place around me.
