Elizabeth,

It isn't exactly my idea, but I like it. Hope you are doing ok under the circumstances and thanks for your support of this idea. There seem to be only a few of us at present, but I am still committed to the idea. I am praying for you and your family.

Fr. Christian, your posts never fail to educate me. This one was especially significant. It is in the ordinary that I meet Christ so often. As Colleen mentioned in her linked post today, one finds God so often in "out-of-the-blue" gentle mercies. I have certainly experienced far more miracles than my share or than I deserve; yet, at the same time, it is finding God standing right beside me when I am suffering through a difficult meeting, have to brief a high-ranking government official, or want to help a family member, employee, or friend in trouble.

Thanks for hosting this series. Today, especially, given my son-in-law's death on Friday, I am grateful for the chance to reach out to others without the effort of writing a new post. It is a good idea that you had; giving the Sabbath back to God.
