Slow down and be QUIET (he used the word "Shoosh") 2. Pray simply...no need to make any elaborately crafted prayer. 3. Change our hearts. (turn away from our old (bad) habits) Pretty easy enough to follow. He also gave everyone a vial of sand to keep in our pockets. The sand is to remind us of our journey out of the barren desert of sin to be reunited in 40 days with the glory of the Resurrection! Pretty cool service.
