I cannot even go to confession this week because Fr. Ed, our English-speaking priest, is in Ireland -- his mother passed away -- and although I do upon occasion attend and understand the Spanish Mass, my spoken Spanish is not good enough to go to the Spanish-speaking priest (nor is his English good enough to respond to me). So, I am grateful for your post; it reminded me that God does understand and forgive when we make mistakes.
