A Window To Heaven

The holy sacrifice of the mass has often been referred to as a window to heaven. In this third part of Msgr. James Moroney’s explanation of the new Roman Missal, he uses these exact words to describe what it is we participate in each Sunday when we show up for church. We glimpse a bit of heaven and perhaps even more importantly, heaven looks down upon us as the saints intercede for us before God, the almighty Father.
