CatholicMom.com, TheAlternatePath.blogspot.com.  Anything Catholic that’s not gossipy (e.g. Murmurs in the Portico, or whatever it’s called).

Hmmm.  I honestly don’t know that I have a favorite.  I think of blogs like conversational bars–depends on my mood.  I don’t agree with Kat on some political matters, but I really enjoy the Crescat’s humor, art, and passion.

I generally stay away from the “reacting to the news” blogs.

Yes, I would love to create a page similar to New Advent that attempts avoid all the church gossip type posts.

My sister in law has a good blog about family life and growing in faith–she is also going through a spiritually challenging time (she is pregnant and the pregnancy is life-threatening.  No, she is not having an abortion, period.)–so whether people want to read her blog or not, I know she’d appreciate prayers.

I think Scott Dodge is a really smart guy, Mormon convert, father of 6, permanent deacon, Communion and Liberation fan…interesting perspective on things.

I believe that it would be a worthwhile thing to visit these blogs. Evert person should really take some time, even if the virtual world is all about doing things quickly, to reflect and read about things that would feed their faith.
