    I was just a little squirt when Abp. Sheen died, so I’ve only gotten to know him through EWTN programs & his many wonderful books.  Even so, I feel very close to him as a teacher, counselor, & friend.  Msgr. Mankel told me that he heard him speak once & that he was boring :)

    “‘If Jesus is God, he ought to be able to make other Jesuses.’  And that’s what you are… And you should manifest it so in your lives.”

    I was just saying to Jill that I could use a spiritual infusion.  This is perfect!  Thanks!

    What a great gift to the Church the saints are, as Archbishop Fulton Sheen was/is.  Thank you, Father Mathis for including this on your site.  It is my first exposure to him, and I did not find him boring at all.  Maybe Msg. Mankel caught him on a bad day.
